Continuing our theme of spotlighting valuable benefits you receive as an engaged member of NCACPA, this week’s highlighted benefit is networking. Whether you’re a student, a young CPA, or a seasoned professional, there are a variety of ways for you to network with others in the profession.
Members are encouraged to reach out to and get involved with their local chapter. Local chapters provide excellent networking opportunities through student nights, professionals’ nights, golf tournaments, baseball games, luncheons, community outreach events, and so much more. When you join NCACPA or renew your membership, you are automatically assigned to one of the association’s 11 regional chapters based on the city where you live. To find out more about your chapter, click here.
The Young CPA Cabinet, a diverse group of energetic CPAs ages 35 and under, serves as the voice of young CPAs in North Carolina and enhances the value of NCACPA membership for its younger members and future leaders. Like our chapters, this group is constantly hosting networking opportunities to help younger CPAs foster relationships with others in their area. From community service opportunities to wine tasting events, this group has something for everyone. Click here for more information on getting involved with the Young CPA Cabinet.
Don’t forget to renew your membership by June 30 to continue receiving the benefit of networking and so much more. Renew online by visiting www.ncacpa.org/Renew or call our Member Service Center at (800) 469-1352.
