Ever heard the old adage “it takes a village”? I can certainly say a village of CPAs assembled at the 74th Annual Symposium which took place November 18-20, at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro. We assembled to hear some wonderful speakers address many timely professional topics, as well as to support the NC CPA Foundation. Our Foundation was in the lineup of exhibitors who displayed and talked about their products. We were excited to talk about our product—the future CPAs of North Carolina. We shared the successes of the Foundation and the many students we support each year, but also explained our increased need for donations. Now more than ever, students need financial assistance to obtain a Masters of Accounting, and to pursue their CPA certifications. During these three days, the “village” generously responded to help the many deserving students by donating $3,000. The NC CPA Foundation’s Board of Directors thank each of you for your generous donations, which GIVE HOPE to so many.
If you would like to contribute to the NC CPA Foundation, you can do so here.
