As part of NCACPA’s Centennial, we have enjoyed reminiscing on the Association’s rich history over the past few months, and we appreciate your participation! The Board of Directors has been discussing how to ensure the Association’s future success while navigating the great pace of change happening all around us. NCACPA’s vision and mission statements were last reviewed in 2006, and given the celebration of our past success, 2019 seemed like the perfect time to reflect on these statements.
Over the summer, a task force was created to study the vision and mission statements and determine if there was a need for change. After much deliberation, the task force decided change was necessary. Since that time, the Board approved the task force’s recommendation.
After officially recognizing NCACPA’s 100th Anniversary, we want to introduce these new statements to you. As part of the communication, we ask 3 things:
- Watch the Video: Please plan to spend approximately 30 minutes watching the video presentation.
- Read the Article: In the December issue of Interim Report, you’ll find an article that provides information on the task force, defines vision and mission statements, presents the new statements, and of course, asks for your feedback.
- Complete the Survey: After watching the video and/or reading the full article, we ask that you complete a five-minute survey by January 3. Feedback will be shared with the Board of Directors at their January 15, 2020 meeting.
This special web page was created to house the above resources and a few others, including a link to today’s conversation on Connect and some FAQs.
We thank you in advance for your input and appreciate your ongoing support of NCACPA!
