Have you experienced difficulty getting a client’s problem resolved with the IRS? Do you have a client facing the immediate threat of adverse action? Is a client’s situation with the IRS causing them, their family, or their business financial difficulty? NCACPA might be able to help.
NCACPA is partnering with the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) to host the second annual IRS Problem-Solving Day on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
Staff from the Charlotte and Greensboro offices of the TAS will review, research, and attempt to resolve taxpayer problems through virtual meetings with NCACPA members who have valid power of attorney for their clients.
Register for the IRS Problem-Solving Day
Please note:
- TAS staff cannot assist with issues involving paper-filed returns or original return processing.
- Participating CPAs must fax to the Greensboro TAS office Form 911 and Form 2848/Form 8821 for each taxpayer case (Download the customized fax cover sheet).
- Due to time constraints, participation in the project is limited to 20 taxpayer cases.
- Time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. After the first 20 slots are filled, registrations will be placed on a wait list.
