The Association has been in frequent communications with the Department of Revenue over the past month on the NC-3 e-Filing issues. This week in particular, we have been persistently engaged reiterating the concerns our members have with the current electronic filing process.
The Department of Revenue has readily heard our concerns and the Secretary of Revenue has agreed to automatically waive the $200 electronic filing penalty for 2018 Form NC-3s. Importantly, the January 31 deadline is still in place and NC-3s not filed in a timely manner will be subject to penalties.
Here you will find the DoR’s official notice with additional details, and here you will find a PDF containing answers to other filing questions from earlier this week.
