On February 27, Governor Cooper announced Ernst & Young LLP (EY), will create 375 jobs in Mecklenburg County and invest $8.2 million in Charlotte over the next five years.
EY will also develop a wavespace center in Charlotte as part of the expansion. The firm launched wavespace centers beginning a year ago, which bring together multi-disciplinary teams to focus on growth and improvement strategies and technologies.
“Through our expansion, EY is proud to help strengthen North Carolina’s financial and professional services sector, as well as bring in more diverse, innovative skills to advance businesses across the state,” adds Malcomb Coley, EY Charlotte Office Managing Partner and Carolinas Market Leader. Malcomb is also a member of the NCACPA Board of Directors.
EY will add positions in areas including forensic investigation, dispute data analytics, digital development, data analytics, and robotics.
