The N.C. Department of Revenue will begin accepting both business and individual income tax returns over the next few weeks. In a presentation to the House Select Committee on Advancing Women in STEM, NCACPA called on legislators to designate Accounting as part of the state’s STEM curriculum under the field of Technology. NCACPA’s lobbying in March for expanded access to the state’s Business Recovery Grant program benefitted roughly 70% of Phase 2 grant recipients.
