About the Speaker:
Jenny Martella specializes working with women investors and families who are looking to both grow the wealth they have accumulated and also safeguard it for the future. She has a particular passion for helping women succeed and focuses on connecting with her clients and empowering them with a feeling of clarity and confidence in the financial planning process.
Prior to joining Modera in 2020, Jenny served as Principal and Director of Financial Planning at Keatley Wealth Management (KWM). Jenny enjoyed an eight-year career at KWM, where she worked to help build the firm. Jenny’s achievements at KWM were due in part to her passion for helping individuals plan their financial futures and implement these plans.
Jenny also has a background in banking, with a 15-year prior career working as a commercial loan officer and private banker to high-net-worth clients. She decided to transition from banking to the field of financial planning in 2011, after she witnessed many friends and family members receiving poor or inadequate advice in the wake of the 2008 to 2009 financial crisis.
Jenny has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger Personal Finance, and Financial Advisor IQ. She has also served as a panelist on a recorded webinar for Fidelity Charitable to discuss the topic of tax efficient giving strategies and donor advised funds. She has been tapped for an interview on Michael Kitces’ Advisor Success podcast. She serves on NAPFA’s Women’s Initiative Committee, where she spearheaded a national webinar on Trends in Senior Living.
