About the Speaker:William G. Alexander, Attorney
Bill Alexander is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of Davidson College and Wake Forest Law School. He founded and manages W. G. Alexander & Associates, an estate planning, elder-law and asset protection law firm in Raleigh. He is well known locally for his radio show on WPTF and WTKK called “Asset Protection Today.” Also, he has written a book entitled “Money Secrets” as an experienced estate planning attorney who also provides financial and insurance advisory services. As a retired Air Force Judge Advocate (JAG), he is a VA accredited advisor as part of his elder-law practice.
A lawyer for over 47 years, he is recognized by other attorneys as ‘A-v Preeminent’ the highest peer rating that can be achieved and is named in Marqui Who’s Who as one of America’s top attorneys; recently he was named the 2023 Attorney of the Year by “Top 100” Lawyers. He has been named Elder Law Attorney of the year in North Carolina three times by the NC Chapter of the National Academy of Elder-law Attorneys. He teaches advanced elder-law topics and asset protection topics for many attorney organizations. Bill has received numerous military and civic awards including the Legion of Merit, the Distinguished Service Medal, and the Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
