In an increasingly diverse workplace, gaining a deeper understanding of communication patterns between different groups and identities is crucial. Understanding the complexities of microaggressions is essential for fostering inclusive and effective communication. In this session, we will look at the impact of microaggressions and explore practical strategies to navigate these challenges successfully. Using relatable workplace examples, we will uncover nuances, underlying dynamics, and implicit biases that perpetuate these subtle (and often unintentional) slights and offenses to equip participants with practical insights to better recognize, address, and mitigate microaggressions.
