 It takes work be move beyond a supervisor to be a leader. This session will explore the characteristics of an effective leader using the Kouzes and Posner approach which consists of Model the Way, Inspire Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act and Encourage the Heart. Influence is the key to becoming an effective leader. Once the characteristics are firmly established, it is time for a leader to examine how to effectively use appropriate power to being a great leader, which takes effort. This workshop will explore characteristics of great leaders who effectively influence and lead teams to accomplish their goals and objectives.
