Our brains are amazing. They pilot our movement, actions, and decisions throughout the day without us having to remember how to perform every action, execute every task, and express every idea. From birth, our brains are taking in and processing information, both through practice and through observation. Over time, we develop the ability to perform, understand, and navigate complex tasks in every area of our lives. This automaticity of actions and behaviors is also true of perceptions, interpretations, and decision making. In this program, we will take a closer look at how these automatic patterns of thinking are formed and impact the decision we make day-to-day and walk through a framework for identifying then disrupting our autopilot thinking, so that we can be more aware and intentional in our workplace interactions and decision making.
