Melissa Moon MA, MEd
Learning Manager
Melissa manages the Learning Team at NCACPA. She provides strategic project management for the planning and execution of the NCACPA curriculum. She works with subject matter experts and the rest of the Learning Team to identify course needs and plan the NCACPA curriculum each year. She is passionate about continuing education and encouraging individuals to learn and grow so they can better their careers and lives. As a proud lifelong learner, Melissa is always eager to learn something new and tackle a challenge in order to help others be successful. She graduated from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history, and from NC State University with a master’s in higher education administration. Before joining NCACPA, Melissa worked in higher education at nearby red and blue universities managing curriculum and working with faculty in the curriculum development process.
Fun Facts about Melissa:
- She likes to organize closets and put her organization skills to the test. An organized life is a happy life!
- She loves to bake, and is known for her chocolate chip cookies.
- She is always up for visiting libraries and museums, but you need to be firm with a time limit or she will stay there all day!
