Lorrie oversees the communications and marketing initiatives of NCACPA, and enjoys working with members as often as possible. She passed the exam for the CAE designation in 2016 and received the IOM designation from the US Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management in 2013. Lorrie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in communication studies. Go Heels! As a native North Carolinian, Lorrie enjoys exploring her home state with her family and being her two daughters’ personal Uber driver.

Fun facts about Lorrie:

• While she never played soccer or took dance growing up, she’s mastering the role of being a soccer mom and dance mom. 
• She loves playing with her beagle, Sadie, and fishing on the Pamlico and Albemarle Sounds.
• She may have a possible obsession with Starbucks.
