Amelia ensures functional, educational, and financial success with NCACPA events. Along with her hard-working team, she covers all pre-meeting planning and logistics, on-site management, post-event follow-ups, and much more. Most importantly, Amelia and her team are responsible for providing the best experience possible at all NCACPA events. Amelia is the Past President of the Carolinas Chapter of Meeting Professionals International. She graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in political science and communication studies. A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Amelia enjoys community service, and mentoring young ladies in her nonprofit organization. However, her absolute favorite things are staying abreast of the latest vegan recipes, reading the latest fashion blogs, shopping at flea markets, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Fun facts about Amelia:
- If she weren’t working, Amelia would be shopping for 80’s vintage, doing community service, or attending an exercise class.
- She was a competitive cheerleader for eight years.
