Triad Women’s Networking Initiative: Scavenger Hunt Recap

By Paula McMillan, CFP, CPA/PFS, CGMA

Hello Friends,

The Scavenger Hunt, organized by Donna Multerer and Diana Hill, was a huge success! Twenty two ladies descended on Friendly Center to solve riddles prepared for us. The winning team, comprised of Melissa Burroughs, Ashley Epps, and Alicia Smith, was able to complete the most riddles and retrieve the most items within the allotted time! After the games we enjoyed drinks and appetizers together. Thanks for organizing this fun event, Donna and Diana!

While some were making plans to get together with specific people they met at the event, everyone seemed to be looking forward to the next group event in August. Stay tuned for future communications regarding the “Pups and Pints” meet-up at a local brewery Renee Leonard is putting together in August 2018! Other fun future events include:

  • CPA Day of Service event to be led by Monica Cox in September 2018
  • Networking and personal branding workshop organized by Elizabeth Keller in November 2018
  • Yoga breakfast where Diana Hill will teach us chair yoga in January 2019
  • Wellness breakfast organized by Donna Multerer where we will learn about essential oils in April 2019

More information will be forthcoming on these events—watch for future communications! Be sure to check out the photos from our scavenger hunt below!

Warmest,

Paula
