Teka Miller-Alston
Director of Solutions & Partnerships
Teka plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, leveraging data insights, and enhancing learning solutions to deliver impactful outcomes for NCACPA and its stakeholders. As the leader of the Digital Solutions and Learning Solutions teams, she oversees online education, strategic partnerships, customized CPE offerings, and intensive learning programs.
Since joining NCACPA in 2018, Teka has brought over a decade of nonprofit and association experience, with a strong focus on membership recruitment and retention, as well as event and strategic planning.
Teka earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from North Carolina Wesleyan College. A native of Washington, D.C., she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

- Teka loves to read! Her favorite genres of books are antebellum fiction and non-fiction. Her favorite book is Cane River.
- Teka LOVES sweets. Her favorite food is birthday cake (yes, cake is a food group).
- She loves a good quote. Her favorite is, “life for me ain’t been no crystal stair” taken from the “Mother to Son” poem by Langston Hughes.
