RALEIGH – The North Carolina Department of Revenue announced today that is now accepting electronic 2017 Form NC-3, Annual Withholding Reconciliations and withholding statements on the NCDOR.gov website.
By law, every employer must file electronically an annual withholding reconciliation and the department’s copies of W2s, 1099s, and other withholding statements with the Department of Revenue on or before Jan. 31 of the succeeding year.
Electronic filing is faster and more secure than paper. Data can be uploaded, entered manually, or a combination of both and users will immediately receive a submission confirmation that everything has been accepted.
