For more than a century, NCACPA has represented and advocated for its members, the accounting profession, and the business climate of North Carolina. As we build toward the future, we have entered into a strategic partnership with The Diversity Movement to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) for our membership, leadership, staff, and in our business relationships. NCACPA recognizes that advancing diversity in the accounting industry is essential to creating a stronger profession.
Collaboration with The Diversity Movement showcases NCACPA’s commitment to DEI programming and advocacy. NCACPA will benefit from The Diversity Movement’s expertise in helping 100+ companies on their DEI journeys, as well as its employee experience engagement suite, digital learning and education programming, and expert-curated content. The partnership will help NCACPA promote meaningful, positive changes in the accounting profession across North Carolina through education, information, and dialogue.
“The Diversity Movement has created educational content and business strategies for organizations to utilize in an ever-changing and diverse workplace. Their approach to DEI creates awareness within our association as well as improves communication and performance that will impact our bottom line,” said Amelia Hodges, Director of Channel Distribution & Experience at NCACPA.
“While we’ve helped more than 100 organizations navigate their DEI journeys, our work with associations like NCACPA enables us to build partnerships with members across an entire industry,” said Donald Thompson, chief executive officer at The Diversity Movement. “This partnership will have a significant impact on the accounting profession throughout North Carolina and will serve as a model for other organizations who, like us, hope to change the world for the better.”
With this strategic partnership, NCACPA’s 12,000+ members will have the opportunity to access The Diversity Movement’s high-quality educational programming, such as its diversity certifications and digital learning courses.
