As reported previously, the ruling in the Commscope Credit Union vs. Butler & Burke, LLP case prompted NCACPA and the AICPA to file an amicus brief. The brief was filed on January 13, 2015, and at that time, the North Carolina Chamber; Cherry Bekaert, LLP; CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP; and Dixon Hughes Goodman, LLP were considering filing briefs as well.
As an update, and per member request, briefs have been filed by these organizations and are included for your convenience:
