ST000726: NCACPA Bridge Day: From Classroom to Career
Description
Whether you’re preparing for an internship or your first full-time role, the transition from the classroom to the workplace can feel overwhelming. NCACPA Bridge Day: From Classroom to Career is designed to help bridge that gap with a full day of practical learning, meaningful connections, and real-world insight from accounting professionals who know what it takes to make that transition successfully.
Developed with support from NCACPA’s Education Resource Group, Bridge Day brings together young professionals and experienced accounting leaders to help you prepare for both landing the opportunity and succeeding once you get there. Join on Friday, September 18 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at Appalachian State’s Hickory Campus. Throughout the day, you’ll explore pathways within the accounting profession, strengthen your resume and interviewing skills, practice networking, and gain practical insight into workplace communication, professionalism, managing expectations and feedback, and building a strong foundation for early-career success. You’ll also put your skills into action through a collaborative leadership challenge focused on teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership.
