The Emerging Leaders Experience equips participants to lead effectively in their current roles, with an eye toward helping them advance to the next level. Equipped with a personal profile completed before the event, participants will better understand the strengths, struggles, style, and tendencies that shape their leadership style, enabling them to make a unique and valuable contribution to their organizations.

This in-person, immersive program combines the benefits of peer-to-peer learning with participants from other organizations, with practical follow-up tools for sponsors to apply the learning experience to their specific needs. A bonus virtual session 30-60 days after the event provides a follow-up on progress and an opportunity for troubleshooting real-time leadership challenges.

Objective

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to: • Define key leadership principles and evaluate leadership effectiveness within accounting and finance environments. • Assess their individual leadership style, strengths, and potential barriers to effectiveness, and develop a personal leadership foundation including vision, purpose, mission, and values. • Apply emotional intelligence and communication strategies to lead effectively, including managing difficult conversations and influencing others. • Implement core leadership skills, including delegation, feedback, accountability, and structured leadership development planning. • Apply critical thinking and emerging tools, including AI, to enhance decision-making and develop actionable next steps for continued leadership growth.
