Membership with NCACPA goes so far beyond discounted CPE and email updates—it’s the strongest link you’ll have to connect with peers and mentors, impact your community and your profession, and grow personally and professionally as a CPA.
NCACPA provides leadership training, networking opportunities, and connects you to your statewide professional community through regional, interest-based, and committee activities. In addition, we offer our members CPE discounts, reduced rates on products and services, an online job board, and many other benefit programs.
As an association, NCACPA knows that continuing professional education (CPE) is important to our membership. NCACPA offers some of the highest quality CPE you will find, and at competitive prices. With robust and varied CPE, your association has made sure there is plenty of quality CPE convenient to all of our local areas, to ensure that getting your required credits is as easy as possible.
We offer a multitude of networking and leadership development opportunities through committees, volunteering, and other events and initiatives so you can make the most of your career in a way that’s meaningful to you.
NCACPA has negotiated reduced rates for products and services to benefit each and every member. We’ve partnered with the country’s top vendors including UPS, Nationwide, Coastal Federal Credit Union, FastPark & Relax RDU Airport Parking, iTransact, Citrix, and more!
A new feature available through Connect, Volunteer Match is the hub for all volunteer opportunities, including term-based positions on committees and the board, short-term tasks helping out at NCACPA and community events (including CPA Day of Service), and even opportunities to write content for the association’s publications.
One of our most robust member benefits, Connect is an online platform where members can interact with each other by participating in forum discussions, asking questions of peers, and sharing knowledge and resources.
One of our newest initiatives, Mentor Match is a module on Connect that enables NCACPA members to be matched with potential mentors based on preselected filters (such as practice area, interests, etc.).

A reminder from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners regarding their rules of Unauthorized Use of CPA Title. The rules require you to be licensed in NC as a CPA in order to use “CPA” or “certified public accountant” in your title or firm name. A licensed CPA from another jurisdiction who now resides in North Carolina or whose place of business is in North Carolina, must apply for a reciprocal certificate (license) before they can use the title “CPA” or “certified public accountant”.
