Charlotte Student Night

February 13 | 5:30–8:00 pm | Queens University Sports Complex | Free

Be sure to join NCACPA on Tuesday, February 13 from 5:30-8:00 pm at the Queens University Sports Complex for Charlotte Student Night! The format for the event will be speed networking, and students will get the chance to meet local CPAs and learn about the various accounting careers paths that could be available to them. Charlotte area members who are eager to meet future accounting professionals and mingle with other area members are welcome! Appetizers and raffle prizes will be provided!

NCACPA special event

NC State Basketball Game and Meet the CFO

February 20  |  5:00–10:00 pm  |  PNC Arena
$20 for members  |  $25 for non-members

This event has been rescheduled from the event on January 18.

Join NCACPA and Triangle area members on Tuesday, February 20 for an NC State basketball game at PNC Arena as the Wolfpack takes on the Boston College Eagles As a bonus, before the game you will get a behind the scenes look at the NC State Athletics Program with a presentation from their CFO, Diane Moose! The presentation will take place just across the street from PNC Arena at Carter-Finley Stadium. After hearing from the CFO, everyone will take the short walk to PNC Arena to find your seats before the game begins at 8:00 pm. Below is an agenda for the night’s event:

5:00–5:30 pm: Open networking before the CFO presentation
5:30–6:00 pm: Presentation by CFO Diane Moose followed by a short Q&A session
6:00 pm: Walk as a group to PNC arena
7:00 pm: Game begins

Your registration fee includes the CFO presentation, ticket to the game, and a $10 concessions voucher.

Registration will close at 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 15.

ECU Student Night

February 21 | 5:30–8:00 pm | East Carolina University | Free

Join Greenville area members on Wednesday, February 21 from 5:30–8:00 pm at East Carolina University in Bate 3008 for a speed networking event! Students will have the opportunity to meet CPAs and discuss various accounting career pathways. Members will have the chance to catch up with fellow CPAs and meet the next generation of accounting professionals. This interactive session will help students learn about being a CPA. The exact location for the event will be updated shortly. Food and beverages will be provided, and business casual attire is recommended. All area accounting students and professionals are welcome!
