Charlotte Women’s Initiative Charity Styling Event

The Charlotte Women’s Initiative Networking Group is hosting a styling event to benefit the Charlotte Chapter Dress for Success. The event will be held at Vestique (East Boulevard location in Charlotte) on Wednesday, October 25 from 6:00–8:00 pm. Vestique will be showcasing some of their new fall fashions and will have style consultants available for those who would like a professional opinion. Appetizers and drinks will be provided.

Best of all, shoppers will receive a 15% discount on their purchases for the night and 10% of the proceeds will go to Dress for Success. As another charity opportunity, we will collect gently used women’s business attire, including purses and shoes, to donate to Dress for Success. The NCACPA Charlotte Women’s Initiative Networking Group is excited to be a part of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)- Charlotte Chapter’s Success in the Queen City event again this year! This annual event brings together business women organizations in the Charlotte area to celebrate Women in Business Month. This will be a night full of networking, sharing, and getting to know fellow Charlotte area businesswomen. Second Career CPA Meet-Up—Uncovering the Opportunities for Success

TopGolf Outing with the Member Engagement Team

Triangle Area Cooking Class at Sur La Table

Join Triangle area members for a homemade ravioli workshop from 6:30- 8:30 pm at Sur La Table in North Hills! Work alongside your fellow CPAs, learning to transform fresh ingredients into an assortment of dishes perfect for enjoying under the sun or stars.

Class Description: There’s nothing more delicious than fresh pasta, and crafting it yourself is much easier than you might think. Our chef instructor will show you how to create perfect pasta dough and flavorful fillings, which you will then transform into beautiful ravioli. Next you’ll pair your handcrafted pasta with delicious, complementary sauces. Renew again your passion for pasta and learn how to make satisfying new dishes.

What to expect: Great cooking isn’t about recipes—it’s about techniques. In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • Classes are for students 18 and older and run for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
  • You will work with other students in groups of 4
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • You will enjoy a generous taste of every dish
  • Students receive a coupon good for 10% off in-store purchases the day of class
