Just about everyone has heard about Pivot Tables and most realize that they can be very beneficial. Unfortunately, many can’t quite get started with using this powerful Excel® feature. This session shows users that with a basic understanding of Pivot Table conventions, the intimidation factor disappears. It is a two-hour introduction to Pivot Tables that shows how easy they are to use, ways to avoid common Pivot Table pitfalls, and how time-saving they can be. If you want to get started with Pivot Tables and benefit from the features of this wonderful Excel® tool—this session is for you!

Objective

Once participants have completed this session, they should be able to * Understand the underlying concepts and conventions that drive Pivot Table operation * List four important components used when creating and working with Pivot Tables * Understand how to create and drive the operation of Pivot Tables of all types
