Everything is changing. Many believed that allthe shifts and moves related totechnology for business would slow. However, due to the upheaval that the country and the world has faced along withthe initiation of the fourth industrial revolution(4IR),the rate of technological change is increasing. In this session we discuss what is on the horizon, which tools will be adopted quickly and what will develop over a long expanse of time. We then touch on how organization leaders and control creators must work to harness the latest tech so it serves the organization in the most beneficial way.
Objective
Once participants have completed this session,they should be able to:•List recent technology adoptions as well as those that are going to affect business in the near future;•Discuss which tools create security risks and which, if not utilized might lead to reduced productivity, and•Identify controlsnecessary to reign in the change and help an organization use tech tools securely and efficiently.
