Description

The course provides participants with a basic understanding of the myriad and complex sales & use tax laws that apply to the daily transactions their clients engage in.

Objective

After completing this course, you will be able to: Better advise your clients on how to understand and properly apply North Carolina’s sales & use tax statutes to the various transactions they encounter while conducting business in this and other states.

Highlights

Staff with the North Carolina Department of Revenue will provide an overview of NC sales & use tax statutory references, review how to determine the correct sales tax rate to charge and how to report sales and use tax, helpful tips and resources, and more.
