Description

 So often, diversity and inclusion conversations and
programs focus on dimensions of diversity tied to underrepresented groups –
race, gender/gender identity, disability, age, and so on. But diversity is more complex,
often nuanced and sometimes confusing. In this session, we will broaden the
list of diversity dimensions traditionally explored in the workplace. Then we
will explore how our differences subconsciously influence how we interact with
people different then ourselves day to day.

Objective

At the end of the session, attendees will recognize the complexity of diversity as a concept and gain a wider understanding of the different dimensions of diversity.
