Description
We’ve all heard the importance of “being yourself” or
authenticity in today’s lingo. There is no shortage of seminars, books, blogs,
and YouTube videos touting its power.
Everyone talks about being authentic as if it is easy – a simple formula
to learn then execute. Well…not exactly.
It’s a mix of skills, attributes, and qualities that come naturally
to some. For others, it may take intention and a little effort. Layer in the challenge for many accounting
professionals to reconcile how to be ourselves and still act the part of the
CPA. Fortunately, not only can it be
learned, it can be leveraged as a marketplace differentiator.
Today, individuality is your competitive advantage. In
this session, we will discuss the importance and value of authenticity, curiosity,
and individuality, and how to use it to grow your personal brand.
