This event has been cancelled.  Please visit the NCACPA Catalog for other offerings of this course material.

We’ve all heard the importance of “being yourself” in the modern workplace. There is no shortage of seminars, books, blogs and videos touting the power of authenticity as if it is easy. As it turns out, there is no easy formula or process. It is a mix of skills, attributes and qualities that come naturally to some. For others, it may take intention and a little effort. Layer in the challenge for many professionals to reconcile how to be ourselves and still act the part of our designated title or role in the business. Fortunately, not only can it be learned, but it can also be leveraged as a professional differentiator. Today, individuality is a competitive advantage. In this session, we will discuss the importance and value of authenticity, curiosity and individuality, and how to use them to grow your personal brand.

This session will cover the following:
  • Review the meaning of authenticity in the context of the workplace.
  • Understand the competitive advantage of individuality.
  • Explore techniques for developing your personal brand.

The Zoom access link will be provided in the confirmation email. This event is planned and hosted by NCACPA’s Hickory Women’s Initiative Networking Group*This is a non-CPE event
