# of CPE Credits

Description

As a new CPA, you are aware of all the rules and regulations that govern the profession; however, rules and regulations aren’t ethics—ethics goes further. Melissa Critcher, CPA, addresses the questions or situations that CPAs often face when new to the profession. Discussion includes how to identify ethical issues, using your professional judgment to navigate the gray areas, threats to your ability to your ethical conduct, and more. Melissa will also provide several brief case studies and examples relevant to new CPAs. Important! This course offers 0.5 CPE hours toward the two-hour NC ethics requirement. In order to satisfy the two-hour NC ethics requirement, you must complete three additional Build Your Own Ethics modules. Please note—This course will expire on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. If you don’t complete the course by midnight on this date, you will forfeit your registration fee for this course.
