Event FAQs
Do I have to attend the full program? You can register for as few or many parts as you like; however, full participation is recommended. Each part builds upon the last and those who complete the full program receive a certificate, badge, and chances to win raffle prizes.
How much of each part must I attend to get full credit? Full credit is defined as attending at least ¾ of each part. As each part is a total of 90 minutes, to receive full credit attendees must attend at least 67 of the 90 minutes.
How do I sign up for the full program? Completion of one form is needed for registration and parts can be selected individually as the form includes all four parts. This flexibility allows for students who are not interested in the full program to join for the portion that best aligns with their professional journey. If you need to change/update your registration, please contact Crystal Dempsey.
What if I can’t attend the part(s) live? We’ve got you covered! Replays will be available for each part, and credit will be applied if all four are viewed by July 12, 2023. Certificate/badge distribution will occur at that time.
Is this event for me? The Summer Leadership Conference is designed for students in community colleges and four-year programs seeking a career in accounting. However, individual parts or the full program are open to anyone interested.
