Join NCACPA’s Financial Planning Network and Jennifer Szakaly on Tuesday, August 26 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm via Zoom for a (non-CPE) event on planning for aging and caregiving. From navigating conversations with clients and families to understanding various costs associated with care, this presentation will cover many aspects of aging & caregiving.
Topics will include:
- How to bring up the topic of planning for aging
- How to navigate resistance from an aging adult
- Understanding costs associated with aging and care

Event Speaker:Jennifer Szakaly is the Founder & CEO of Caregiving Corner, a 17-person firm providing care management and caregiver counseling services in the Greater Charlotte area since 2005. Jennifer currently serves on the National Board of the Aging Life Care Association and is a Fellow of the Leadership Academy there – designation held by fewer than 50 care managers in the country. Jennifer also hosts the Caregiving Corner podcast, which educates the public on all-things related to caregiving.
