General Information

The North Carolina Association of CPAs is proud to be leading the state’s financial literacy efforts. Our goal is to help North Carolinians reduce debt and build wealth, and by doing so, strengthen the state’s economic standing and financial future. It’s a win-win situation for everyone!

Volunteer Speaking Engagements

NCACPA members often volunteer at community colleges, public schools, and other community organizations to help educate the community on how to be financially savvy. Some engagements target specific audiences within the community, each with a dedicated message providing a powerful impact on those hearing them—many for the very first time.

It’s no secret that personal finance mismanagement is a growing problem. Savings rates are at an all-time low and personal bankruptcy at an all-time high. Too many families live paycheck-to-paycheck, or worse, they live beyond their means, using high interest rate credit cards and payday loans as supplemental income. It’s a terrifying but reversible trend.

That’s where YOU come in. CPAs and other financial professionals are in a unique position to improve the overall financial health of our country, starting at the grassroots level. Learn how to get involved now.
