auditing and financial reporting. |
Review all applicable course offerings, as well as opportunities for other
offerings, and recommend final roster of governmental accounting, auditing
and financial reporting courses to the NCACPA CPE Committee. Organize and
develop annual NCACPA Local Government Conferences held in late Spring/early
Summer in two locations statewide (east and west locations) |

Provide guidance on implementation of all GASB Pronouncements and
Interpretations. |
Review applicable GASB Pronouncements and Interpretations, critique and then
provide comments, suggestions and recommendations for implementation. |

State Treasurer's Awards. |
Review entries by category and choose winners for the State Treasurer's
annual awards for innovations in governmental financial operations. |

Provide forums for discussion of governmental practice issues and concerns.
