North Carolina CPA Foundation Scholarships
In 2013, the North Carolina CPA Foundation’s annual merit scholarship program received a total of 64 applications from students at 22 North Carolina colleges, universities, and community colleges. Thanks to our members’ generous contributions, the Foundation was able to award 30 scholarships totaling $40,000 to very deserving students. Additionally, 16 awards totaling $16,000 were made from the James L. McCoy Accounting Scholarship Fund. The
awards range from $1,000 to $5,000, and all qualified
applicants are offered a complimentary one-year NCACPA membership.

Outstanding Minority Accounting Student Scholarship
The North Carolina Association of CPAs,
through the North Carolina CPA Foundation and the Minority Action
Committee, recognizes the extraordinary achievement, leadership, and
talent of the state's top minority accounting students each year. This
competitive, merit-based scholarship is designed to reward minority
accounting students for their achievements both inside and outside the
classroom and to support them on their way to a career in accounting. Please contact

AICPA Graduate Accounting Scholarships
Liberal arts students wishing to pursue graduate accounting study
can receive financial aid through the AICPA John L. Carey Scholarships
Program. Scholarships are available to all liberal arts degree holders
of any regionally-accredited US institution who wish to pursue a CPA

AICPA Minority Accounting Scholarships
AICPA offers a Minority Scholarships Program that supports minority
accounting students at the undergraduate and several specific graduate
level programs. Applications can be downloaded here.

BrainTrack's Business Schools Scholarship offers a first and second
place award every semester. Applicant essays are designed to help others
considering business and management career paths in general management,
marketing, advertising, sales, accounting, finance, management analysis
and consulting, and more. Eligible degrees include associate,
