Volunteer
through school Career Counselor
Coordinators.
Megan Kirkpatrick, Business Alliance
Coordinator, will create a list of
interested NCACPA volunteers to send to
each coordinator within the school
system. The coordinator will then
contact Nicole Hendren, Triangle Chapter
Financial Literacy Committee Co-Chair,
with their school's individual needs.
Nicole will work with NCACPA staff to
promote the volunteer opportunity and
recruit NCACPA volunteers.
Business Alliance Volunteers—Each
school has a Business Alliance Committee
and would welcome NCACPA participation
on the committees. They meet once a
month for one hour (time of meeting
varies by school). If you are interested
in this volunteer opportunity, please
contact Megan Kirkpatrick and she will
connect you with a volunteer for the
committee you're interested in.
Events—Nov. 21—Great Xpectations—8-10th
Graders Career Fair.
NCACPA would like to exhibit at this
career fair again! Use your
creativity—the booth can be about your
profession as a CPA and/or Financial
Literacy.
Event—April 17—Xtreme
Beginnings 10-12th Graders—Tell
them what you wish YOU would’ve been
told! Join these roundtable discussions
regarding what students need to know and
consider after high school. Volunteers
