Committees
NCACPA has over fifteen standing professional
committees that meet and discuss areas of
specific interest. Committee service is
available to members on a voluntary basis, and

Speakers’ Bureau
Members speak at schools, civic groups, and
chamber events to highlight the contributions,
expertise, and integrity of CPAs.
Financial Literacy
Plant the seeds today that will provide for
tomorrow. As a volunteer, you can participate in
community and student education events;
one-on-one counseling for those on public
assistance; write content for NCACPA’s consumer
website,
GrowYourGreen.org; and more.
Student Recruitment
We want you to help us attract the best and the
brightest to the CPA profession. Join us for
career fairs, speak at local high schools, or
mentor a student member.
Scholarships
Contribute to the North Carolina CPA Foundation
Inc. that annually awards scholarship to

Advocacy
NCACPA strives to represent the profession’s
interests in vital areas of public policy
formation, standard-setting, and rule-making
that would have impact on members, the
profession as a whole, and the North Carolina
business climate. Also, the association
identifies and supports the campaigns of those
legislators and candidates who understand the
profession through our NC CPA Political Action
Committee (PAC). If you are interested in
governmental affairs or would like to contribute

Peer Review
The association’s Peer Review Committee oversees
and accepts the review of over 1,400 firms and
has received national recognition for its work.
